Captain Jax, who's foster family calls Jack, is a six month old puppy who anyone would be lucky to have. He's quite mellow for his age and plays well with my five year old female. Leaves the older ones alone as he should. Loves kids but I would recommend none under five as he will jump. Training is a must even if just for socialization as he does bark at other dogs when out and about. He does knows basic commands such as sit. Still needs a little work on housebreaking as he will pee when he's been playing a while. Sleeps all night in his crate with no issues. Loves to cuddle and give kisses and is very gentle. I think he would do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He's been a pleasure to foster and my Boston will definitely miss him. Currently Jack is about 16.5 lbs but he will be well in the 20's when full grown. Don't know about cats but I think he would just be curious.
Captain Jax's adoption fee is $425. If you are interested in adopting him please visit our website at www.btrfl.org to learn more about our adoption process and to fill out an application.
