Olive's Story...
What can we say about sweet Olive? Sweet and submissive, this pup turns to puddy in your arms. She has got the most fabulous underbite you have ever seen and her sweet eyes tell a story that is continuing to unfold.

We met Olive at Memphis Animal Services - terrified and trembling in her kennel, which is normal and appropriate for her surroundings. We got her out of the kennel and she was uncertain at first - but was happy to have some time outside. Her foster home has kids and other dogs and we think she would make a wonderful companion for a family with another dog, who is more calm. Olive doesn't like the up-in-your-face-hyper puppy type behavior. (Me either Olive!) She's submissive as they come and we want to find a home for her where she doesn't get bossed around. She needs someone to continue to assure her that her sweet disposition is perfect and that she is safe now.

Olive's adoption fee is $500 and includes her spay surgery, microchip, heart worm preventative, vaccines, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area. Please contact us for an adoption application and to learn more about Olive.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Chicago Pug/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pug/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pug/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
