My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SNOWBALL is a 3 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 57 pounds. He is a very happy dog who greets everyone with a smile and a wagging tail. He is friendly and likes to be petted. He thinks playing with other dogs is great fun but will give that up to be with people. Don’t think he has ever had toys and is just learning how to play with them. He was a little thin when he came in, we are getting some more weight on him. He would like a home with an active family that will give him the exercise he needs.
He was good with rescuers 7 and 10 year olds but was only with them for a week. Good with other dogs, played with several at the kennel. He lived with a cat in his first home and was around several outside cats at his rescuers. Will chase cats if they run but won't hurt them as he wanted to play with them. Knows sit and come. Okay on lead. Was inside dog for the first year of his life is keeping his room clean at the kennel and waits to do his business until he is outside. Snowball is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (12/04): Snowball is at a new foster and is doing great. He gets along with their two dogs, their cat and the pet guinea pig They told me if they didn't have a house full he would stay there as he has fit in so well. He is completely house trained and has the run of the house. Loves being outside, and chasing their dog Reni as she retrieves a ball. Think he needs a fenced yard with a physical fence vice underground as he loves to clear the squirrels from the yard, his foster doesn’t think he would stop for an underground fence if he couldn't see it.
