My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Possum is an owner surrender Australian Cattle Dog that is 7 years old and has lived on a farm. She has spent time indoors and did well and is doing very well on kennel training here at the shelter. She gets along with other dogs and literally loves everyone she meets. She'll climb in your lap 10 seconds after meeting you. Possum is active but not hyper at all. She'd make a great companion for someone looking for an indoor dog that walks daily. Dog adoption is 130.00 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines including a 3 year rabies, health exam, deworming, and microchipping. Any animal 6 months or older is considered an adult. No animals are vetted until they are adopted as we do not have a vet on staff. Once the animal is adopted we make a vet appointment, and they must go to be vetted before they can go home with an adopter. Call 985.651.7387 for more information regarding adoption.
