Sacramento- Meet Kaylee! Kaylee is a young girl around 3 years old. Kaylee is super sweet. She is playful and loves playing with other dogs. Kaylee loves bully sticks and gladly jumps in her crate once you throw one in. Kaylee is content to lay on the dog bed and eat her treats. Kaylee is still opening up after coming from the shelter with her puppies. Kaylee is protective over her puppies as every mom is, once she is away from them she is a different dog. Kaylee is being fostered  with several other dogs of various sizes/genders and children of all ages and does well with them all. Kaylee is working on crate training and basic commands. She will be spayed, up to date with vaccines, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaylee, a Sacramento Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
