Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MILA - Wirehaired terrier mix, female, 7 years, 15 lbs. True to her terrier lineage Mila is a spunky girl, and maybe a bit bossy, though she lives happily with the two dogs in her foster home and enjoys taking walks with them. She is endearing and cute as a button, and once comfortable in her surroundings is affectionate and playful. Also as one would expect of a terrier, Mila will bark upon meeting people or dogs but then settles down nicely. She is quick to make new friends and will become your shadow before you know it! Mila is housebroken and does not need to be crated as she has very nice house manners. When she wants a little attention, she will roll right over and present her tummy for a good rub, and when she's feeling frisky, her antics will make you smile - so much "bravado" for a 15 lb pooch! The one cat she was tested with seemed to make her want to get away as fast as possible, so maybe she would be fine with others - we just don't know for sure. Mila is hoping for that second chance at a happy new beginning with a loving and supportive adopter. She would make a wonderful companion for a quiet home that would appreciate her bright presence.
** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
