Griffin's Story...
Griffin lived his whole life in a wire pen at a puppy mill in Mississippi until he was rescued by Animal Rescue Corps in October

video footage of the rescue here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPhDMKqVZVg

Griffin is 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. This boy LOVES belly rubs and playing with toys. He was a favorite in our emergency shelter (before going into his foster home) and everyone fell in love with his funny little personality. He loves to rub his face with his paws when you hold him on his back. He enjoys playing with other dogs so his ideal home would be a home where someone is present a good part of the day and another dog in the home.

The love of a rescued dog is like no other! They truly appreciate every day, every meal, warm beds and a kind touch....

Griffin is working on housebreaking but is not there yet...he's using puppy pads now. This sweet boy is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Griffin to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Southington Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon for sale in Southington, or seeking a Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
