My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SQUISHY is a solidly-built gray-brown tiger tux fellow with bright eyes, about two years old. He had some kind of injury to his paws and had been wandering in a neighborhood, limping. This is, of course, an automatic six-month quarantine. He came to us from another shelter and moved into our special room. He is just fine now – he has cheerfully served his sentence and he is now ready for his new home (and maybe a new name?)

Squishy looks just like the Meow Mix spokescat, with the same bright eyes and sweet little meow. He has an enormous appetite, and will consume a can of Fancy Feast in minutes, then look up at you with those bright eyes, as if to say: “Is that ALL there is??”

This guy loves people and can be picked up and cuddled, and gets along fine with other cats also. His outgoing personality has made him a favorite among the volunteers. He loves to climb on the cat tree, and really wants to get out of this little room and into a home with interesting places to explore. With Squishy in your home, life will never be dull.
