Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update: Skye is again available. I thought he had found the perfect home, but he is back home. He experienced severe anxiety whenever he was left alone. I know it is impossible to have someone home ALL the time, but that is basically what he needs. He is good as gold when he is with someone. He does not like to be crated at all. On a good note, he was perfectly fine with the men when he met them so I do not believe he has a "male" issue at all. He is a very sweet boy, but anyone who is interested would need to understand that he will take a long time to adjust. Another good note is he was extremely HAPPY to see me! A week isn't going to do it. It will be months before he is truly comfortable in a home.
Original Listing: Skye is about 8 years old and 100 lbs. He is a husky mix with beautiful blue eyes! He LIKES to be with people and walks excellent on a leash. A fenced yard would be heaven for him. He has storm anxiety, but at times is absolutely fine. He does not like to be confined and works very hard to get out so he will need someone who is home most of the time. He prefers females although has been fine with every man we have tested him with. He likes kids, but due to his size, older than 5 would be better. NO CATS! He is completely vetted and microchipped. He is really a very sweet, calm dog that would be perfect for a retired person. If you are interested in Skye, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!
