My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank is a handsome 5 yo neutered Lab/Pit bull type mix. He weighs 74 lbs. is neutered and up to date on shots. He becomes more affectionate the more he gets to know you. Tank was abandoned by his owner along with another dog. Sadly, we’ve had to look for separate homes and the other dog was able to get a home. Tank gets along with other dogs except shows toy/food guarding (only toward other dogs not people). His food guarding likely stems from the conditions he was living in when rescued the first time; he was emaciated and starving. Now he has been abandoned again and is waiting for his second chance for a good home. He has been diagnosed with an issue with his left rear ACL which could possibly need to be addressed in the future. At this point the condition does not seem to bother him and is noticeable only intermittently. He is very sad having been abandoned by his owner and is currently living in a kennel.
