Scout is a real nice guy, both his owner and his long-term companion/dam passed away last summer. He could use the stability of a new family.
~He is an intermediate level trail horse. Moves off easily to light aids and neck reins. Meets obstacles in the woods, easily steps over, not excitable. A nice relaxed ride.
~He's a real nice guy, sweet, 16/17 yr old, 14.3-15 hh. Appaloosa gelding.
~The trade-off for this great package -- Needs to be shod in front, shoes with pads are the best choice as he has a history of laminitis. He'll need an adopter who can manage him properly - dry lot or low grass turnout, not a lot of sweets, regular farrier care to keep his feet trimmed and shod to maintain a short break over.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees vary from equine to equine, determined by useability/abiltiies of each equine.
All potential adoptors must complete an Adoption Application which is to be submitted with a $20 application fee; all references will be checked. Once the application is approved, the equine is adopted out with a Conditional Adoption Agreement.
