Elsa's Story...
Introducing Elsa.

We met Elsa at Memphis Animal Services when we were there to pick up a dog we had already adopted. We walked by her kennel, saw her head hanging down, her totally defeated look and we knew we had to help. So we got her out of her kennel, immediately that defeated dog became a happy go lucky dog, playing and relaxed. Turns out Elsa isn't just another pretty face - she has the common sense to know that a shelter is not a good place to be.

With her unique coloring and wrinkled up forehead, we think Elsa is absolutely beautiful and she's got the personality to match. Great with other dogs and kids, we can't wait to see how this girl's story ends - to see what lucky family she will end up being a part of.

Elsa's adoption fee is $500 and includes her spay surgery, microchip, 6 month heart worm preventative shot (ProHeart), up to date vaccines, fecal exam/deworming, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Brittany for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Brittany dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Brittany breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
