Rooney is a male Shih Tzu approximately 3 years old. He is super cute, with black and white coloring and a sweet, pudgy little body. Rooney weighs 14 pounds full grown and is a very healthy boy. He has been professionally groomed and his soft wavy coat is non-shedding. Rooney has the most adorable personality ever. You will fall head over heels in love with him instantly, we promise! He is very friendly, social, amiable, and affectionate. Rooney can play gently with other dogs, snuggle in your lap, go for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, or keep you company enjoying the sunshine in the backyard. He is a very easy keeper, housebroken, and excellent inside the home. He is also good with children. Rooney has a true heart of gold which is readily apparent. He is a total love in every way. Rooney likes other dogs, but he does not need another dog in the home to feel secure. He is comfortable and confident in most situations. Rooney enjoys being pampered and fussed over and so if you want to baby him a little bit he will be thrilled no doubt. He sleeps soundly through the night and will wait for you to get up before he starts his day. Rooney rides great in the car and is, in a nutshell, totally delightful. He was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. Rooney is an absolute winner. He is ready for his new loving forever home today!
Rooney’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Rooney is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam and Allen and is ready for his forever home.
