Arthur Meatball Fonzarelli's Story...
Hi. My name is Arthur. I have short legs and a huge head. My rescuers think I am a mastiff mixed with a bulldog but they really have no idea. I'm a walking cartoon character. I weigh 70 lbs, am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. I LOVE my foster dog siblings, one of which is a 5 lb Chihuahua. I am wonderful in the car and walk beautifully on leash. I am looking for a forever home in LA. Please visit www.apurposefulrescue.org for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arthur Meatball Fonzarelli, a Los Angeles Mastiff/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Bulldog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Mastiff/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Bulldog breeders who help with Mastiff/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
