I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sparky's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sparky's Story...
I was rescued this fall with my three siblings outside right before it got really cold. I am very playful and will purr right when you start petting me. I will sit next to you so that you can give me pets and will even beg for them. I am great with other cats and love to be with my sister Rusty. I am not a lap cat yet but I am on my way there. I also love to have conversations with you. I am one smart cat! It will take me a little while to get used to my new home, but with a little patience I would love to be your new best friend. Am I the one for you?

You can view some of our adoptable cats and kittens at the Commerce Petsmart on the west side of Haggerty just north of 14 Mile Rd. during store hours. Or call Cindy at 248-755-4260 for an appointment to visit with a cat. If you are interested in adopting one (or more!) of our lovable cats, please complete the online “Adoption Application.” If you have questions please email cltalerico@gmail.com or call Cindy at 248-755-4260. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued cat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Livonia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Livonia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Livonia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livonia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livonia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livonia paves the way for another one to be saved.
