My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a great boy…a big, goofy and happy German Shepherd/Great Dane mix about 7 years old. Poor Barkley was picked up as a stray in the east bay and was in terrible shape. He was very underweight and had skin infections that had caused him to lose almost all his fur. Otherwise he is remarkably healthy. Despite the obvious neglect, Barkley has retained his cheerful spirit. He spent a long time at the vet getting his skin cared for and is now back at Lily’s Legacy, gaining weight and enjoying lots of TLC and exercise. Barkley will top out at about 95 lbs. He is great with other dogs, has tons of energy and is as sweet as can be. Barkley is strong, he tends to be exuberant and needs a human who can help him learn his manners. He is very smart and a quick learner and has come along way in settling down since coming to Lily's Legacy. He will be a fabulous companion pup!
