Pen 3 - Missy ***SENIOR WELLNESS PROJECT DOG***
Missy is an 8 year old chi. She is a very affectionate and curious girl who came in as a stray. She was selected as the second recipient of CARE Medical Fund's Senior Wellness Pet project. That means that she received a full vet workup including xrays, bloodwork, fecal and heartworm tests to make sure she's a healthy girl before she goes home. All her tests came back with no issues. She has a little arthritis in her right knee, but losing a little weight and fish oil should help. She walks with no problem whatsoever. Missy is a healthy senior and is ready to be adopted!
