Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I’m Roxie! I’m a light gray tiger girl with bright, beautiful green eyes and I’m about six years-old. How I came to be at EGAPL is a very sad story. You see, the volunteers found me one morning, abandoned in my carrier on the doorstep. There was a $10 bill and a note taped to my carrier with no mention of my name, but it did say that I had been abused. I was so very afraid when I first arrived, wondering if all of these new people would hurt me, too. Thankfully they didn’t, and they even said nice things to me every day while they took care of me. Eventually I started coming out of my shell a little more every day! Now I love to play with toys, especially catnip, and I even rub on admirers until they pet me! I am still nervous about being picked up, so it would be best for me to be in a quiet home with no small children or energetic pets. I have suffered enough and I am so hopeful to think of spending the rest of my life with loving, cat-experienced owners who will give me the life I should have had all along!
