Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Little Mermaid, a 5 pound Chihuahua we rescued from the medical department at South L.A. Shelter. Little Mermaid has a heart murmur, which does not have to affect her life; if anything, she may need medication at some point, but it is not expensive and we have had several dogs with heart murmurs that are doing fantastic and even running 5k and so on! She also needed teeth cleaning and a few extractions which were all done last week so she is ready to find her forever home!
Little Mermaid is a doll, at 5 years old she is calm yet wagging her tail to every person she meets. She is very quiet and a calm girl but gets very happy when she gets to go out and explore. Because her teeth were not well cared for prior, her tongue sticks out to the side on and off which makes her even cuter. She is so little she looks like a little squirrel and has the softest coat. She is very confident and social with all sized dogs. This girl is very special super cutie pie!
Little Mermaid is spayed, up-to-date with shots, micro-chipped and we had a blood work panel done on her so we have the results on that too for an adopter.
