Zinger's Story...
This is Zinger. He’s funny, charming and a real ladies man. Zinger will curl up in your lap and stay there as long as you let him. He will also sleep next to you, or in your arms, or on your back, so on and so on. You get the idea! He just loves to give love and to be loved. And, in case you didn’t notice, he’s super handsome too! His markings are truly beautiful.

Zinger is very sweet and loves all the other animals in the house, including our dog! But his favorite animal is a human. Zinger can play hard to get at first, sometimes, but he’s so worth it and comes around pretty quick.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zinger, a San Diego Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
