My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alexis was found walking in the middle of the street, and was immediately picked up and taken to the nearest vet. Reports were filed with the local shelters, but when no one came forward to claim her Alexis was brought to TH. She is a sweet and spunky little girl who will start to purr the moment you begin to pet her. The pretty tabby has a few personality quirks - once she's explored a space she likes to establish specific spots where she can comfortably lounge and accept visitors. These are her 'safe zones' and she knows that if she's there and you come up to her, you're not going to hurt her. She will also sometimes play bite, so she would do best with people who are familiar with cats and can work with her to establish proper boundaries and help her learn the difference between playing and petting. These quirks aside - she loves to snuggle with her people, and will show her affection by licking your face. Alexis has no objections to being picked up, and loves playtime with other cats. Alexis would do best with a family that does not have young children.
