Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful girl came to us way back in December. She has been here almost a year. Yoko is a 6 year old chinocker (Japanese Chin/cocker spaniel). She came to us so shy that if we even looked at her, she cringed. She is much better now but still very shy with strangers. She is gentle and very sweet. Yoko does not look for trouble. She is just afraid and doesn't trust anyone new.
However, we think Yoko has a good start and feel that she is ready to look for a new home. She will be considered a special needs adoption as it will take time and patience to help her learn to trust. She will need daily emotional, loving support.
If you are interested in adopting Yoko, please complete the adoption application at http://www.secondchancedogrescueofiowa.com/adoption.html Thanks!
