My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet and friendly little guy is very lucky. He was injured after being hit by a car on 10/30/15. He had no microchip or identification and was rushed to the emergency vet. He didn't have any broken bones but sustained trauma to his head. He has made a great recovery and has gained some needed weight and is ready for adoption. He would do fine with a dog closer to his size though. He's not the least bit aggressive. He is pee pad trained, though he has been known to drag his used pad all around his crate. He is content and quiet in his crate unless it gets dark. He will let you know that he would like some light in his room. He also becomes barky if he sees toys outside of his crate that he can't reach.Speedy is extraordinarily playful. He responds to 'sit' by flattening to the ground, then looking up at you to see what his reward will be. He loves to chase his squeaky toys, his mini tennis balls and his bones. He leaves them right by your feet, waiting to go again. He has the happiest spirit and loves people. He's not much of a cuddler though, he'd rather lick and sniff your face than settle in your arms. He is very alert and smart and willing to please. You would never guess he'd been through so much. The right home for him will recognize the little prince that he is while giving him lots of playtime and affection. He will make a wonderful companion for his new family.
