Baby Ruth's Story...
Baby Ruth came to us with hers littermates KitKat and Oreo when they were very young kittens needing bottle feeding and round the clock care. But boy have they grown up! Baby Ruth is the smallest and quietest of the trio. But like her littermates she is used to living in a home with other cats and being carried about by a young child. Baby Ruth would love to be adopted with one of her littermates, but it isn't necessary. To learn more about this pretty little girl, call her caregiver Jackie at 217-3175. Baby Ruth will need to be spayed and vaccinated before going home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Ruth, a Fallon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fallon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
