Lolly's Story...
Well, hello there! My name is Miss Lollypop Sugarbritches, but you can call me Lolly—all my friends do. And I hope we are to become very good friends. You might be wondering how a sweet thing like me ended up in “the system,” but you know what they say: “Bad things happen to good dogs.” I can divulge all the unsavory details to you at a later date, but right now can we talk about how perfect I would be for you? I won’t mind your kitty cats, and I’d love to play with your other dog! If there are sturdy children in the family I’d love to get in some playtime (and some snuggle time) with them too. My crate training is coming along wonderfully, and I would love to continue it into the future. Oh, I have so many sweet nothings for you, my dear, just come a little bit closer and let Lolly whisper them in your ear. 2 years old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lolly, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
