Jeffrey's Story...
I am a funny little guy and weigh only about 7 pounds. I love to cuddle and snuggle on your lap! I promise to always keep it warm. I bark a little at strangers, it is the chihauhau in me I guess... I dont bark otherwise though and am quiet and easily talked out of barking when strangers come into my territory and you reassure me that everything is ok. I am housetrained and will do my business outside. I love car rides and being the center of attention. I am very good about playing dress up and have fun with that if you have sweaters for me to wear and keep me warmer. I am about 2 years old and was found as a stray out wondering around looking for my human but they never came and saved me, instead a rescue did and I love my foster mom and all the other dogs here but it would be my dream come true to have my very own home and sleep with my very own human forever and ever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffrey, a Ridgecrest Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Ridgecrest, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ridgecrest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgecrest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgecrest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgecrest paves the way for another one to be saved.
