Cowboy Bill's Story...
Cowboy Bill lives up to his name…loves to run and play with his buddies..chase the squirrels and birds.. generally be in the middle of everything..and everyone.. he is Mr Personality and would do great with a very active family that can take him on runs, to the dog park, etc because he likes to be active.. he seems to be fairly well house trained, but not perfect.. does well on a leash but could do with some general additional training as he is young.. you will fall in love with this boy. he will keep you amused and on your toes.. he is not considered hypoallergenic and a fenced yard is preferred. He is about 1 year old and 20lbs

.The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy Bill, a Allentown Cairn Terrier/Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Wheaten Terrier for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
