Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet awesome Miss Waffle, bully-shepherd mix. Beautiful Waffle is just 1 year old and weighs only 42lbs. She was rescued out of a high kill shelter in the north Georgia mountains; Waffle’s previous life was one without much love or attention. She spent most of her days on the end of a chain. Her crappy Georgia owners were not abusive but not very caring either. In spite of that, she is very loving and affectionate and LOVES to be around people- but goes “flat” sometimes when she gets attention from you- that’s why the name “waffle”! Super friendly, she loves to run in her foster mom’s new play yard. She will need some help with her leash skills, though Waffle will make you proud in training class as she is smart and learns quickly…plus she is a true “pleaser”. Waffle is very good with other dogs, though she is a bit unsure on how to play as she has not had much experience. Waffle is energetic and sweet, and will be a great exercise partner after some leash work and confidence building. Waffle is a real beauty! She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. A great coat for the northwest, her hair is thick and low-shedding. Waffle has a cool black muzzle and her tail is always wagging! Her big ears are definitely hound or shep! Waffle will be very loyal and will listen to you intently and will appreciate your patience and your doggie experience. Crate trained, house-trained and good in the car, Waffle will bond to you and the family right away. Good with kids and fine with cats too. Waffle is very intelligent and so sweet and she would really appreciate and blossom in your loving northwest home. Miss Waffle will be on transport headed west with arrival on January 9th and she would love to have you come meet her then! Waffle’s adoption fee is $400 and any questions, please email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. To apply to adopt or foster Waffle, please go to www.raincityrescue.com. Waffle truly is the sweetest and most loving girl. She will show you immediately her true loving self and also a bit of shyness. But she will be out of her shell in not time and you’ll be so proud and happy to have helped her through her last and final transition!
