Earl's Story...
Earl is a handsome little guy. He is sturdy and so very cute. Earl is happy on a leash and happy to visit. He is not pushy or demanding. He is under 2 yrs old and under 20 pounds. Earl will make anybody a great dog. He will need some patience in the begining to bring him out of his shell but once he knows you love him it will be smooth sailing. Earl deserves a warm, stable home. He was tossed out of a car along with another dog ( who has been adopted) and left to fend for himself. Luckliy people saw this happen and helped out these two scared dogs. Please if you have space in your heart for a sweet little guy come meet Earl. Call Shelter directly at 530.865.3661 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Earl, a Orland Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Orland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Orland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orland paves the way for another one to be saved.
