Linda's Story...
Meet Linda, she's one of the lucky ones. Linda was saved from the horrific dog meet trade in Thailand and taken to a sanctuary with 1250 other dogs, part of the Soi Dog Foundation. She is now on her way to Canada and looking for the loving forever home she so richly deserves. Linda is a sweet four year old girl who loves people. She'll give you a kiss when you meet her and then flop for a belly rub. Not only does she love people but she is great with other dogs. At only about 30 pounds or so she can fit in with just about any family. Linda has been spayed and is fully vetted including micro chipping and all vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linda, a Pickering Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Pickering, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Pickering.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pickering already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pickering breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pickering paves the way for another one to be saved.
