Noel's Story...
My name is Noel - I'm a 3 year old and 9lb chiweenie. Fa la la la laaaa! Yep, I love the Christmas season. It's a time of giving and joy and gifts. I'm hoping my gift this year is a new family of my very own.

I get along very well with other dogs and didn't bother the shelter kitty when I was there. I do play sometimes, but most of the time I love to help you while you're on your computer by keeping your lap warm. I also love blankies - they're so soft and warm and snuggly. I'm an under-the-cover sleeper, preferring to be with my humans than without.

I'm so happy you're looking at my profile. If you want a telephone interview, please email CaliCan Rescue at calicanrescue@gmail.com. They'll tell ya that I'm spayed, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm tested, seen by a vet, and flown to Canada, with adoption fees of $280.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
