Koda's Story...
Koda is a tan/grey Lhasa Apso mix who weighs 8 lbs. He is about 3 ½ years old. He has a playful, loving personality and is great with other dogs. He loves to play fetch and munch on his stuffed toy collection. He needs a little leash training but he is willing to learn. He also knows SIT and is pretty much housetrained. Koda is not at all fearful and not aggressive although he does bark at noises outside his home or when someone is at the door. He is a good little watchdog. His personality is gentle, curious, affectionate and well mannered. He is a low maintenance kind of a guy and gets along well with other dogs in the home. He can fit right in anywhere. He is new to rescue and we would love to see him settled in a new forever home for the holidays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Koda, a Encino Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Encino, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
