Pepsi's Story...

Pepsi (female chi) came to TPR when her owner was diagnosed with an end stage terminal disease. She wanted to ensure her beloved dog would be cared for. She truly is a lucky dog to have a mom that loves her so much. When a loving foster home opened up, and this cutie happily filled the vacancy!

Pepsi is a sweet and lovable 10 year old chi. Although, she absolutely loves to rest by your side, she sleeps very well in her own bed or an open crate. Pepsi loves attention and will let you know when she wants hugs and kisses! She wiggles her tail and barks for love. Her glee is contagious.

This girl is an absolute love bug and gets along very well with other dogs, cats, and children. Truly, this senior is ready for her final home- one that will help her live out their golden years in happiness and comfort. Pepsi would be happy in any home setting as long as her human has a heart ready for them to melt!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepsi, a Brooklyn Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
