Chelsea's Story...
This beautiful shepherd mix girl is looking for a low key, laid back family to spend her life with. She was rescued from a kill shelter in NC. We don't know much about her past but we can guess that she has been abused. She flinches when u reach to pet her and her confidence comes slowly. After all - humans have left her feeling worthless and unlovable. How can she feel confident? Despite that, this is a girl who wants to be loved. She craves having a relationship with people. Even though she has been treated so poorly by them.

She is not a hyper girl at all and a home without small kids is best ONLY because the energy level of a home with small kids is so high.

Adoption fee $350 - includes full health exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchipping, spay (being scheduled) and 30 days of free pet health insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Franklinville German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer for sale in Franklinville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Franklinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Boxer breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
