Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION ON ADOPTION PROCESS BEFORE INQUIRING
Meet Buddy! This handsome lab is approximately two-three years old. Buddy is super friendly and loves to retrieve tennis balls! He has been described as silly and affectionate. He will be traveling to Wisconsin on December 13th and would love to be in his forever home in time for the holidays. He can also be cat-tested upon his arrival.
Our adoption process works a bit different than other shelters and rescues! Paddy's Paws serves as a coordinator for Houston rescues. We send out the applications, arrange home visits and secure back up fosters for each of the dogs that will be transported here. Like most foster-based organizations, we do not have a facility and set up all appointments on an individual basis. Prior to any meet and greets, we require an approved application so we will need to go through all the steps before having you meet any of the available dogs here in Wisconsin.
If you would like to begin the preapproval process, you can visit this link to fill it out: http://bit.ly/1IIlGFS
We start with the completed application and then check references/vet records. The next step is a homevisit with family and one of our representatives. Once we have gathered all this information, we provide it to the Houston team. Then, we can set up a meet and greet with available dogs.
