My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Aiden! I'm a super sweet 7 year old bully and I just want to be part of someone’s family!
Until I came into CEBR, I was part of a tight twosome: just me and my man! We spend over six years together, just the two of us (he used to sometimes call me “Beast Mode”!), and it was great. But I had to say goodbye when I married him off to a nice woman who turned out to be allergic to dogs (oops!). So for the last seven months I have been living with another nice man, but now I am ready for another long-term relationship: whose family wants to welcome an almost 80 pound bundle of joy & love!!!
My foster dad knows that I am very VERY well house-trained (only one “accident” during seven months living in a new house) and that I am almost always well-behaved. Oh, you noticed the “almost”? Well, my foster dad tells me that I like to play rough sometimes and that I will when I get excited I try to “mouth” things, which will occasionally cause a scrape on the hand or arm. But I’m always sorry. And when I am told to “be nice” or “settle down” I always do. But I do so much love to play with my humans (…I just get over excited sometimes)! I sometimes like to play ‘lapdog”, and when I am in that mood I will let you know by first barking at your feet, and if you do not get the hint from that I will gently begin to “gnaw” at your toes first, then working my way up to your ankles and kneecaps until you laughingly tell me (likely several times) to stop or you let me up onto your lap for a while. I have been sleeping on the floor of my foster dad’s bedroom through the night without any complaints (after my first night with him, which took some getting used to), and if I wake up before him I just patiently wait for him to get up. And I do not ever snore…loudly, that is; I don’t loudly snore (hey, I’m a bullie! We all snore a little!).
I like to take walks around the block (often once in the morning and once in the late afternoon/evening), and I like meeting new people and things. I almost never bolt after people, cars, bikes or things, but every once in a while I just might, just to keep you honest…so pay attention!
I do very well home alone, even for an entire workday. I will patiently wait for you to come home, mostly just sleeping on the sunlight floor or maybe up on the couch…yeah, I do like to sit and lay up high and so unless something is in my way you will find me up onto the couch.
My foster dad loves me and says I can stay with him as long as a want. But he feels bad because he is not home enough for me, and he wants me to have a home where my people can be with me more. CEBR says they will help make this happen and find me my perfect match who will love me and want to keep me as a forever pet! Is that YOU???
