Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. Please read the bio before emailing us as most of your questions will be answered.
Look no further! Taffy is the perfect dog! Taffy was adopted from Chicago Animal Care and Control then returned as the owner stated she couldn't care for her because she had come down with Kennel cough. Taffy has been on Antibiotics for the Kennel Cough and she is doing very well.
Her loving, gentle personality will win anyone's heart. She is about 2-3 yrs is our best guess and 11-12 pounds. She does fabulous riding in cars, is wonderful on a leash, and seems housebroken. Taffy is a gentle soul who is fabulous with other dogs, and wonderful with cats. She loves all people, and really enjoys snuggling. She is friendly with everyone she meets, men, women, dogs, cats. We haven't had her around children, but given her stellar personality we are sure she would be great with them. However given her small size and sometimes dogs don't appreciate the loud sounds and fast movements of little ones, a home with children 7 and over would be best. She was groomed on December 3, 2015 by Marcy at Tender Touch Dog Styling in Oswego.

The adoption fee is $250.00 She is now spayed, she's had a 4dx which tests for heartworm, and all three of the tick transmitted diseases (Lyme, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis), she is up to date with DHPP vaccination, and rabies, microchip, treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, fecal tested, and leash and collar and her medication for her kennel cough.
