My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s quite funny how things work out sometimes. While one of our volunteers was attempting to trap one of her own kitties that escaped, she inadvertently trapped Titan. At first, she assumed he was feral and would just be a standard TNR but when she took a 2nd look, she realized this big guy was clearly anything but feral and was either lost or dumped. He was dirty, had recently gotten in a fight with another cat and had scratches all over his face, was not neutered and no microchip was found. We attempted to locate the owner, if there was one, but no one came forward to claim him. It is more than likely poor Titan was dumped at this apartment complex where he was found to fend for himself and live his life on the streets. But Titan wasn’t cut out for the street life and that was clear once we brought him into one of our fosters’ homes; he has not stopped purring since the day he arrived. During his initial vet visit, he weighed in at an astonishing 13 pounds! However, when we went to get neutered less than a week later, he had already put on an additional ½ pound meaning he was clearly malnourished and fighting to find food. He is still getting adjusted to being back indoors after living on the streets for so long and would do best in a household without other cats unless the existing cat is very laid back. He is a dominate male so an equally dominant male or female would not be a good fit but he seems to do just fine with other laid back males. Females are still somewhat ify, but more to come on that as he gets adjusted. He is super sweet and very talkative with his foster parents. If you would like to meet Titan or fill out an application for this handsome guy, please do so!

This kitty has been fully vetted to date for his age & is up to date with shots & FIV/FELV Negative . Please call Mary at 732-236-9305 or email mjeroland@gmail.com to meet/adopt him. Application required for adoption.
