My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

US Army General George S. Patton was known for his distinctive physical presence as well as his charismatic personality. Boxer Rescue LA’s General Patton doesn’t disappoint in either of those two categories. He is a stunning gentle giant. Coming in at just under 2 years old, this boy has the body of a military tank (and that head though!!!) but the personality of a super clumsy butterfly. He really is just a big ol sweetheart, despite the intimidating size. He has a very obedient “sit” and “paw” discipline, but still needs to work on his leash manners a bit. In his previous home, he lived with one of everything: a small child, an older child, a young adult, a full grown adult, and an elderly grandmother! In regards to his personality and demeanor, he did wonderful; but the family had to rehome him because his clumsiness had just become too much for the elderly grandmother to handle. He would do best in a family with a lot of energy that can accommodate his size and rowdiness while playing! He spent a short amount of time in a foster home with one of our volunteers and got along perfectly with the two resident dogs there. If you're looking for a rough and tumble unbreakable boy, come meet BRLA’s General George S. Patton…and “That's an order!”
