Lily's Story...
Lilly is a bob-tailed bundle of joy. This little tabby has some of the most beautiful marble-like markings. She loves to sleep with her partner in crime Avon (another Friends of Rescue foster baby). People think they are mother and daughter! She is a cuddler, loves her humans, and has the cutest little squeak to her meow. She has been fostered with her 3 siblings and a large dog as well, so she would make a great companion in any home! Lily is currently fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $75 and all applications are reviewed in the order they are received so fill out your app today at www.forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
