Hansel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Hansel's Story...
Hansel was rescued from a very bad situation. He is crate trained and house trained. His actual health is excellent. However Hansel is needs to work on socialization. He is very scared of humans and it takes about 30 minutes for him to relax in your arms. He doesn't bite or wiggle around, he just stays stiff as a board. He has improved tremendously while being in rescue, but he has much more trust building to do. If you feel you have the time to dedicate to Hansel and are willing to be his forever home, please contact for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hansel, a Berea Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Berea, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
