Rudy's Story...

Rudy is a Boxer,Labrador Retriever Mix locatd in New York. Rudy is approximately 4-5 years old. He is your typical plain brown dog. He weighs approximately 45 lbs. He is very sweet and gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home. He is a little toy aggressive, and is very food-oriented. He dislikes the crate, but is not destructive and is fine if left home alone with a chew toy. He was rescued from a shelter where he came in as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, except that he has had some training as he can sit, shake, beg, speak, and catch treats. He is housebroken, but will 'mark' when he first moves in, so needs to be watched. He stopped doing this by the second day, though, and has been fine since. He may not be good with cats. He seems waay too interested in them. Due to his possessive nature with toys, we would prefer he go to an adult home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Baltimore Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
