Kajun--pending's Story...
This super handsome boy is Kajun, an eleven year old cropped and docked red boy. He comes to us as an owner surrender from a family that had him since he was a puppy and at 11 years old decided they didn't have time for him. He was a dog park dog per the owner so gets along with other dogs. He has also been around children without issue. So far with us he has been pretty low key and low maintenance. He follows staff around the office and is curious yet also non-reactive to dog in neighboring run. He hasn't been to the vet in awhile so we will get him up to date and ready to live the rest of his life in a loving home that sees the wonderful reward of a senior dobe. We hope to get this guy into a foster or permanent home ASAP to decrease the stress and confusion of being uprooted from the only life he's known.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kajun--pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
