Augi's Story...

Augi is an adorable tiny little Chihuahua only weighing around 6 pounds. He is an absolute love and gives kisses to everyone he meets. Fuzzy Pawz pulled this sweet boy from a Utah Shelter when his time was up. He was badly in need of a dental but even in pain he still had nothing but affection for everyone he met. After getting 6 teeth pulled and being brought current on vaccinations Augi is ready to find his forever loving home. We are guessing Augi to be around 6 years old. He has never been around kids or cats so we do not know how he would do, but he is so easy going that I think he would be fine. Because of his small size we will only adopt him out to a home with older children. Augi is good with other dogs, is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and rides well in a car. This boy just wants to be loved and held and spoiled…which is exactly what he deserves. Augi is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and has had a recent dental and bloodwork completed. This boy is healthy, happy, and ready for a loving lap!
If you think you can provide the perfect loving home for Augi please fill out an adoption application here:

His adoption fee is $100.00 to help cover vet costs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Augi, a Salt Lake City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
