My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George, a stunning 2 year old Dutch Shepherd mix. George is current with vaccinations, neutered, tested negative for heartworms and is microchipped. George is a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy. He's a big ole sweetie who gives great kisses. George is good with other dogs and gets along great with the dogs in his foster home. He's also good with cats. He loves all people, including children, and does very well with the 2 year old in his foster home. George is housebroken, crate trained and knows basic obedience commands. A fenced yard is required for George and it cannot be a chain link fence. George can easily scale a chain link fence, so a 6' wooden or block wall fence would be ideal. We also think George would do best in a home with another dog since he's never been in an only dog home.

George needs a new home through no fault of his own. His owner's insurance company has breed restrictions and shepherds are on the list of breeds not allowed.

George would love to have a new family to celebrate Christmas with. Are you looking for an awesome boy like George?
