Meet our awesome 1.5 year old Mr. Roo - perhaps the most handsome and coolest Vizsla-Beagle mix on the planet! Roo weighs only 40lbs and is super-friendly, energetic and athletic. He would love an active and outgoing family with older kids to be his BFF and play partner. He would be in doggie heaven if you had “got his” love of attention and exercise. You could watch Roo happily run in your fenced yard and chase his favorite tennis balls – he loves to play fetch. Hi name suits him as he jumps around like a Kangaroo. Roo enjoys car rides and prefer to ride “shotgun”. Roo LOVES his people time and really enjoys having his neck and head scratched. Roo will make a terrific adventure partner and will be your best running and hiking partner. Roo is good on a leash. He is crate-trained and house trained and figured out the doggie door at his foster mom’s in Snohomish right away. Roo is a huge cuddler and always wants to in the middle of the action. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play- but will need your help settling down with little kids and doggie playmates as he gets really excited. Roo will benefit from a training class with you to get all on the same page. Roo was rescued out of north Georgia when he was just a puppy and transported to Washington State. His first adoption was not a good one as his people were fearful of doing wrong- so chose to do very little with him. Sadly, Roo spent most of his first year in his crate and in their apartment instead of enjoying life. Now back in our care and in a foster home, he is finally starting to “live” his life! Roo is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is good with kids, though his exuberance could knock down a very little one. He is fine with cats and knows his basic commands and is very smart. Roo is a pleaser and so food motivated and will learn whatever you want to teach him! He is in foster care and ready to meet right away.
