Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kat is an absolute beauty who loves being around people. She will follow you to every room to be near you, sleep at your feet and rub up against your legs. She is friendly with new people and even loves saying hello to our Super. Kat has gorgeous fluffy fur--so soft. She allows you to pick her up and pet her, and she's nice about it, but you can tell it’s not her favorite thing. She is definitely not a lap cat. When she's had enough petting, she will let you know with a little nip on your hand. She is mostly calm, with a medium energy level, but she has her playful times. She adores playing with the mouse teaser and chasing the laser dot--she goes into full hunting mode with adorable acrobatic jumps and all. She uses her litter box like a pro, eats all kinds of wet food and sleeps through the night. She can be vocal when left alone. Born around 10/26/11, Kat was purchased from a breeder when she was a kitten, but ended up at the city shelter at 4 years old when her family moved to a no-pets home. In her original home, she lived with an 8-year-old child. Kat prefers people to other cats, so she must be adopted as a solo cat. She will be a great companion for an experienced cat lover who knows that cats can be independent and lovable at the same time!
