Mick's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mick's Story...
Mick is a 2 year old, very energetic and active Labsky ( Labrador-Husky-Mix), that was surrendered to us, because his family is moving.
Mick grew up with another dog and children. He also does not mind cats around him.
Mick still needs some leash training, but he knows common commands like Sit, lay down, shake.

Mick would need a 6ft fence or supervision while he is in the yard. He would make a wonderful running/hiking partner and he would appreciate daily walks and dogpark visits.

Mick's Adoption Fee is $142, which includes: Neuter,Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies),Heartwormtest and deworming. If you're interested please call (785)239-6183! If no one answers then please leave a message! You can also contact us via email at nicole.p.storm@us.army.mil

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mick, a Fort Riley Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Fort Riley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Fort Riley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Riley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Riley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Riley paves the way for another one to be saved.
