My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for companions to snuggle with you on the sofa while you watch tv or read?? If so, look no further! Lima bean and her brother, Mungo,, are AWESOME snugglers!! They have sweet, laid back dispositions. Ideally they would like to be adopted together as they love each other very much; however, should a wonderful family come along who can only offer a loving forever home for one, the other would continue to wait patiently for his/her chance. (Sadly, they've already been waiting over four months to be adopted despite the fact that they get lots of attention at adoption events. Their calm, sweet personalities and the way they snuggle together gets much attention.)

Mungo and Lima bean were rescued on Friday, November 13 from a very rural county animal shelter. They had been trying to survive on their own and had little to no friendly human contact. They were terrified, filthy, covered in fleas, and had bellies bloated with worms. In the foster home they are around other dogs and children - they get along with all and are doing well with house manners.

They are current on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered/spayed. Mungo and Lima bean are looking for a family to give them the love they missed the first four months of life, and I know they will return that love tenfold.

We do not know what mix of breeds they are. They appear to have some American bulldog or American Staffordshire similarities in appearance.
