My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who could resist a face like Pinto's?!? She and her litter mates (Lima, Butter, and Mungo) were rescued on Friday, November 13 from a very rural county animal shelter. They had been trying to survive on their own and had little to no friendly human contact. They were filthy, covered in fleas, and had bellies bloated with worms. Now in a foster home, they're learning to trust people and want very much to be loved, but it's going to take heart and patience. Pinto has already made much progress just in a few days time. ** Update on 12/9/15 - Pinto has blossomed into such a sweet and loving puppy. She's a great snuggler and gives puppy kisses freely. In her foster home she's around other dogs and kids. She gets along with all.

Pinto has received her first puppy vaccinations, been dewormed, microchipped, and spayed. She is looking for a family to give her the love she missed the first weeks of her life, and I'm sure she will return that love tenfold.

We do not know what mix of breeds she is. She has some boxer characteristics and her litter mates appear to have some American bulldog or bull terrier similarities in appearance.
